Bethel Preschool will be closed during school vacations and holidays as do the public schools in Auburn. However, we do not close when the public school has no school for staff development. These days have also been taken into consideration and will not affect the rate of tuition for the month in which they occur.

There is one day a year that the church needs us to close due to the set up of their craft fair. The craft fair is usually held on the second Saturday in November and we close that Friday before for set up. The actual date will be included in your calendar at the beginning of school.

Snow Days

If the Auburn public schools are canceled because of inclement weather, the Preschool will also be closed for that day.  If a delay is announced for the opening of the Auburn public schools, the Preschool’s morning session will be cancelled, but the afternoon session will be held at the usual time (11:30). If there is an early release Lunch Bunch will be cancelled and all classes will be dismissed at 11:30.  Local radio and television stations usually begin broadcasting school closings by 6:00 AM.  The announcement would be for the Auburn Public Schools, not specifically for Bethel Preschool. Tuition is not adjusted for snow days unless there is an abnormal amount of days closed. In which the board of directors will look into and make any necessary decisions.
